Beautiful Daughter
(Psalm 55 & 56)

Father God, Lord of Grace,
Desperately I seek Your face,
Alone I stand in this place.

Tempest torn, tossed about,
My mind gives way to fear and doubt,
Apart from You there’s no way out!

Lord, had I wings like a dove,
I’d fly quickly to my Father high above.

Come sit at My feet, beautiful daughter.
Lift up your head so I can see your face.
I am the Lord, I died to redeem this.
There is glory in this place,
Glory in My grace,
Glory in this place.

Attend to me, God of Grace,
As my heart and flesh grow faint,
Revive me Lord for Your Name’s sake.
Lifeless now I have become,
Yet You bid me to Your throne,
Save me Lord or bring me home!

Lord, had I wings like a dove,
I’d fly quickly to find solace in Your love.

Come sit at My feet, beautiful daughter.
Lift up your head so I can see your face.
I am the Lord, I live to redeem this.
There is glory in this place,
Glory in My grace,
Glory in this place.

For all your tears are in a bottle,
“You hold securely in Your Hand.”
So I can pour them out as showers,
Of mercy, love and joy,
To anoint your head with oil,
And restore you.
But for now . . . rest for awhile,

As you sit at My feet, beautiful daughter.
Lift up your head so I can see your face.
I am the Lord, I died to redeem this.
There is glory in this place,

Glory in My grace, glory in this place,
Come see God’s glory in My face.
